The Blue Bird Auxiliary’s mission is to help support research, education and services that directly benefit medically challenged children and adults in San Antonio and the surrounding area. "Blue Birds," as they're known, serve three facilities: Main Methodist, Methodist Children's Hospital and Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital. Established as the "Blue Birds of Laurel Heights" by a small church group in 1920, the Blue Birds aim to accomplish: Service to Others, Selflessness and Fellowship. The Blue Bird Auxiliary is honored to serve the community and create a network of life-long companions. We believe that by making others smile, we make our own days brighter.
